Stars and Stripes Cloggers joined the Kolache Kloggers once again! We all clogged at the Kolache Festival in Hallettsville, Texas. 

 Altogether, we danced for an hour. It was very hot and humid. I was soaked by the time we finished.

 We are dancing this Saturday at the Calhoun County Fair in Port Lavaca, Texas. Thankfully, the weather has been cooler lately.

Clogging at the Flip Flop Festival

 The Stars and Stripes Cloggers joined our "sister" group the Kolache Kloggers and performed at the Port Lavaca Flip Flop Festival on Labor Day weekend.  We had a wonderful time clogging and visiting the booths.

Stars and Stripes performed some songs, Kolache Kloggers performed some songs, and we performed some together.

 This was a move from "All Shook Up".

 And "Rosine".

 My niece, nicknamed Bug, started clogging in June. She already has two performances to brag about. (along with going to State in swimming.)

 We are all dancing "You Can't Take the Texas Out of Me" here.

 Here we are all together. Kolache Kloggers are from Halletsville, Texas, famous for its Kolache Festival and Fiddlers Frolic. We will all be performing at the Kolache Festival at the end of September. Both groups provide free clogging lessons! The Kolache Kloggers are Lexy, Marla, Jayde and Kassie (director)

FREE Beginner Lessons

Stars and Stripes Cloggers will start offering free beginner lessons

starting on February 1

at the First English Lutheran Church, 516 Main Street, Victoria, TX

from 5:30-6:00 p.m.

No special equipment needed for beginners!

Fun at the Flip Flop Festival

Stars and Stripes Cloggers will be dancing at the Flip Flop Festival in Port Lavaca, Texas this Saturday at 3:30.

Back from the Double-Toe Jam!

 Four Stars and Stripes Cloggers made the trip to Waco for the Double-Toe Jam over the weekend.

 Friday, after an afternoon of clogging workshops, there was a Fun Dance. Susan, Lori and Martha joined in on some of the songs they knew.

 The dance floor stayed full!

Rally Time!

Stars and Stripes Cloggers arrived at the Texas Clogging Council Rally on Friday afternoon ready to dance. Five of Susan's young students attended their first rally.They were so well-behaved and sweet!

The adult dancers had to try out one of the vendor's massage equipment before any dancing! (Linda, Martha, Susan, and Lori)

Workshop-FREE

There will be a workshop on Saturday, January 22 in the Seadrift Elementary Cafeteria. Beginner clogging will be taught by Susan Roberts from 9-12 a.m. and line dancing will be taught by Linda King from 1-4 p.m. No special shoes are needed for beginner clogging. Any shoes that don't slip off easily are fine.
