Clogging for the Red Cross!

On Saturday, March 13, Stars and Stripes Cloggers had a wonderful time clogging for the Red Cross Family Safety Symposium. The mall is carpeted, which is difficult to dance on. The carpet also muffles the sound of the taps. Susan was able to get 4 sheets of plywood for us to dance on! Thank you Susan and Dave for the "stage"!

Stars & Stripes Cloggers have been practicing Patriotic theme dances to perform for the local Polka and Waltz Club dance on February 13. We will be performing to Lee Greenwood's "The Great Defenders", Bette Midler's "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy", "Star Spangled Special" and "Stormin' Norman".
We will also be dancing at the Mall for the Red Cross Family Safety Event. We haven't decided what the line-up will be.

Rally Goodies!

Before we left for the Waco Rally, Martha put this on shirts with her embroidery machine!
Susan gave us this T-shirt to wear too!
Besides offering various levels of dances to learn, the Rally also had some awesome vendors! We had to squeeze shopping in with all the dancing!

I bought this one from a vendor at the rally. The business is called "Rhinestones By Design".
Terri Gross does the designs. You can see her many other designs (clogging and other) at
www.rhinestones-by-design.com .

I also found this bottlecap necklace. I don't remember the name of the booth!
